The Optional Battery Case is beautifully designed to attach to a GLOWB Light. The battery case accepts 4 each D-cell batteries (batteries not included). The battery case allows you to take your light anywhere - the beach, camping, anywhere that AC outlets are not available. Battery cases are very nice for wedding tables - where you don't want messy wires. Loaded with fresh D cell batteries, you can expect to use your light at low brightness 5 hours every day for about a month. The light can last much longer if you use one of the effects. If you only use your light occasionally then it could easily serve you for over a year.
